Step-by-Step Guide- How to Repost a Reel on Instagram Like a Pro

How do you repost a reel on Instagram? Instagram Reels has become a popular feature on the platform, allowing users to create and share short, engaging videos. Reposting a reel can be a great way to share content that you find particularly interesting or inspiring. Whether you want to share a reel from a friend or a public account, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

First, open the Instagram app on your smartphone. Navigate to the Reels section by tapping on the camera icon, and then swipe to the “Reels” tab at the bottom of the screen. Once you are in the Reels section, you will see a list of reels that you have created or have been shared with you.

Next, find the reel that you want to repost. If it’s a reel from a public account, you can search for the user’s username or use the search function within the Reels section. Once you have found the reel, tap on it to open it.

After opening the reel, you will see three options at the bottom of the screen: “Save,” “Share,” and “More.” Tap on the “More” option, and a menu will appear with various choices. Select “Copy Share URL” from the menu.

Once you have copied the share URL, go back to your Instagram profile. Tap on the plus sign (+) in the bottom left corner to create a new post. In the camera section, tap on the “Reels” tab at the bottom of the screen. This will open a new window where you can paste the copied share URL.

After pasting the URL, tap on the “Use This Reel” button. Instagram will then load the reel into your camera, allowing you to make any necessary edits before posting. You can trim the video, add text, filters, or effects to personalize the repost.

Once you are satisfied with the edits, tap on the “Next” button in the top right corner. You will be prompted to add a caption and tags to your post. You can also choose to add a location or mention other users. After completing these steps, tap on the “Share” button to post the reposted reel to your Instagram profile.

And there you have it! You have successfully reposted a reel on Instagram. Remember to give credit to the original creator by tagging them in your post or mentioning them in the caption. This not only shows appreciation for their content but also helps in building a positive community on the platform.
