Method 1: Using USB Tethering

One of the most straightforward ways to connect your phone to your laptop is through USB tethering. This method involves using a USB cable to establish a direct connection between your phone and laptop.

1. Make sure your phone and laptop are powered on.
2. Connect the USB cable from your phone to your laptop.
3. On your phone, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Hotspot & tethering > USB tethering.
4. Toggle the USB tethering switch to turn it on.
5. Your laptop should automatically detect the new network connection. If not, go to your laptop’s Network and Sharing Center and click on “Set up a new connection or network.”

4. Choose “Connect to a Bluetooth network” and then click on “Next.”
5. Your laptop should automatically detect your phone. Select your phone from the list and click “Next.”
